Brian Sweeney

Climbing Wall Instructor Provider, Work at Height Provider, Professional Routesetter Provider, Level 2 USA Climbing coach
Brian began climbing in 1998. He competed on a youth team for several years before concentrating on outdoor climbing. He helped to establish local areas such as Castle Peak, Doyle, and the Sierra Buttes. Brian started coaching and instructing in 2009 and was a founding member of the Sierra Climbing Team in 2012. He has a passion for fostering a lifelong love of climbing.
Nicholas Belancio

LV 1 certified USA Climbing coach
Nick was also a competitor growing up and greatly enjoys coaching—as well as route setting—at BaseCamp. He is an alumni of UNR with a degree in Applied Mathmatics. The Happy Boulders in Bishop, CA are his favorite place to climb. His dog Gus holds an honorary role as coach for SCT.
Zoe Spiker

LV 1 certified USA Climbing coach
Zoe has been climbing since 2012; originally introduced to the sport by her mom. She spent four years on a competitive team and really valued the strong sense of community that came with it. More recently, she has been focused on outdoor bouldering, especially in the Tahoe area.
Gwendolyn Roberts

Level 2 certified USAC coach
Gwendolyn was a youth competitor who made it to Nationals several times as a sponsored athlete. She is now a supervisor, personal coach, and fitness class instructor at BaseCamp. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, painting, and making yummy vegan food. She is grateful to have the opportunity to help the next generation of climbers.
